Thurs. 15th Jan., \'26

The Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo has charged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) members in the council area to make the most of the current membership registration window to have their membership validated and massively canvass intending adults into the party\'s fold.

Olasoju gave this charge on earlier in the week when he addressed the teeming members of the party at a special LGA meeting held on the usual premises of Akinbaye Pry. School.

Speaking after the LGA Chairman of the Party, Barr. Gani Bello had formally welcomed attendees, Olasoju emphasised that the day\'s meeting is to assess the ongoing membership e-registration exercise.  He went on to discuss the usefulness of the registration as including the condition of eligibility for council patronage henceforth as he invited the zonal chairmen of respective wards to the floor of the meeting and mobilized each of them in order to drive massive registration of intending and willing members of the public into the ever burgeoning APC’s fold.

In his own brief contribution, the Member representing Oshod-Isolo Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Oladipo Ajomale toed the path of the council chairman as he also announced monetary support for the zonal chairmen.

In the same vein, Otunba Jide Oni announced cash incentives to wards chairmen, youth and women leaders of the various wards just as the council boss announced the allocation of k-clamp in Aswani Int’l Market to women and youth leaders in all wards to support their respective businesses.

Meanwhile, in a slight digression away from the day\'s agenda, council chairman, Olasoju Adebayo invited a health educator from the council\'s health department, Miss Testimony Adeyeye to discuss an upcoming vaccination programme.

Before curtains were drawn on the historic meeting, the State Auditor of party, Hon. Doyin Pikuda, in his address added that target for the membership registration  should be organic members and not pretenders just as he hinted that NIN enrollment has been made easier to help those finding it difficult to register due to NIN-related issues. He expressed delight in the mobilization of zonal coordinators who are best positioned to canvass.

On his part, the Coordinator of the E-registration exercise in Isolo LCDA, . Mr. Enoch Rueben lent his voice to appeal to some party members to desist from demanding incentives before they could register as he emphasized that the registration is free and seamless.
