BE GOOD AMBASSADORS, SHUN MEDIOCRITY – OLASOJU CHARGES NEW INTAKES

The Executive Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Olasoju Adebayo, has charged newly recruited personnel of the council to uphold the ethics of public service and be good ambassadors of the council area and Lagos State at large, wherever they may find themselves.
He gave the charge recently during a formal meeting with the newly recruited staff at the council secretariat. While welcoming them into the council workforce, Olasoju described their appointment as timely and pleasing, stressing that the future of public service delivery largely rests on their shoulders.
The council boss urged the new intakes to shun mediocrity, indolence, and all forms of unethical conduct, emphasizing the need for discipline, integrity, dedication, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties. He noted that public office is a position of trust and called on them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the government and the people.
Speaking further, the council honcho encouraged the staff to be committed to continuous learning and self-development in order to improve service delivery and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Isolo LCDA.
“I am pleased to formally welcome you into our workforce in Isolo LCDA. Your addition into the Civil Service is marks a turning point in Lagos state as regards job creation. It is our strong hope that the government of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu shall be vindicated via your delivery.
The council boss concluded by assuring the newbies of his administration’s commitment to staff welfare, capacity building, and a conducive working environment.
Speaking on behalf of her colleagues, Miss Akinrinlo Mariam, assured the council boss of the best conduct expected of good employees that are desirous of attaining the pinnacle of a career.
