1447 A.H. RAMADAN: OLASOJU DOLES OUT PACKED EDIBLES TO LEAGUE OF IMAMS, CHARGES RELIGIOUS BODY ON PATRIOTISM PREACHINGS

All seems to be set for a yummy month of Ramadan in the homes of members of the Lagos State League of Imams, Isolo LCDA Chapter, as the Council Boss, Olasoju Adebayo Sunday, hosted the leadership and members of the religious body on the council premises.

Led by the council of Chief Imams, Isolo LCDA, the assembly of Islamic clerics offered prayers for the continued growth of Isolo LCDA under the administration of Olasoju Adebayo, Lagos State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as currently led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.  

Addressing the gathering, council boss, Olasoju Adebayo maintained that his gesture was in recognition of the evangelism efforts and constant fervent prayers of the clerics which he said are rubbing off discernibly on the nation. He charged the religious torch-bearers to harp on expected patriotism among Nigerians in their preachings.  

While hinting that the same gesture awaits the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), Isolo Chapter, the Council helmsman noted the likely commencement of this year's Ramadan and Lent fastings on the same day as instructive of a strong bond across religious divides.

Meanwhile, the Grand Chief Imam of Isolo LCDA, Sheik Qasim Abayomi Hassan Ajiyan praised the council chairman for his sustained patronage of the Council of Chief Imams as well as the League of Imams since assuming office.

High point, of the event included a special prayer for the electoral victory of President Bola Ahmed in the coming 2027 presidential election as the clerics in their numbers went home with packed beverages, bags of rice, fresh cow meat, and undisclosed hefty cash.
