OLASOJU GREETS MUSLIMS UMMAH ON 2026 EID-EL ADHA
Isolo, Lagos
Weds. 27th May ‘26
As adherents of the Islamic faith globally observe Eid-el Adha, a spiritual ritual and celebration today, the Executive Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, has sent heartfelt compliments to the Muslim Ummah across Isolo LCDA and Lagos State at large.
In a personally signed release published through his media office, Olasoju joined the Islamic faithful in returning all adorations to Almighty Allah for keeping everyone till today's Eid, noting that millions had wished the same but are either late or celebrating in unwanted conditions.
His words: "May I, through this piece, identify with the esteemed Muslims of Isolo LCDA, Lagos state, and, of course, across the world on the occasion of Eid-el Adha festival today. Needless to say, the grace of being alive to be among celebrants leaves us indebted to gratitude to Allah since among our colleagues at work, worship house membership, acquaintances, etc., exist hospitalized, imprisoned, or even deceased ones. If I must say, our takeaways from today's festival should be the obedience to Allah, Faithfulness, Patience, and Steadfastness taught by the festival as acted by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.W.) All of these should reflect in our dealings and day-to-day lives within families, society, and the nation on a broader note. Let's be guided by Allah's admonition in Chapter 22; Verse 37 - "The meat of the sacrifices does not reach Him (Allah), only your piety reaches Him".
On making the most of the festival to demonstrate patriotism, Olasoju continued that: "Finally, let us not forget to pray for our dear country Nigeria today and at every other opportunity that presents itself AND celebrate modestly within the ambit of the Law. I pray we all enjoy the grace of many more celebrations. Eid-el Adha Mubarak".
