RECONSTRUCTED ASWANI ROAD OPEN TO COMMUTERS AS OSOLO, AJOMALE, JIDE ONI, OTHERS SHOWER ENCOMIUM ON OLASOJU

The reconstructed 1Km thereabouts Aswani Road corridor was on Wednesday commissioned amidst pomp and pageantries with the chief special guest of honour at the occasion, Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomale showering commendations on the Mayor of Isolo, Olasoju Adebayo for performing creditably well.
Ajomale who graced the groundbreaking ceremony of the road reconstruction some months ago expressed delight not only at the honour of commissioning the thoroughfare but also the quality of the project. Joined on the high table by the paramount ruler of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, Otunba Jide Oni, the member representing Osh/Isolo Const. II at LAHA, Barr. Ladi Ajomale, top echelon of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) led by the LGA Chairman, Mr. Adewale Tonade, Otunba Ajomale averred that Olasoju's administration has been truly remarkable given the enormity and cost-intensiveness of roads undertaken like the Aswani which is a state road. Chief Ajomale, earlier in his address, thanked Oba Osolo and the teeming female folks within party for being faithful to the party as he charged everyone to see the coming elections as a 'must win'.
On his part, Otunba Jide Oni; a towering political leader and contractor par excellence attested to the topnotch standard of the project as he expressed confidence in Olasoju’s committment to sustain his Midas touch on infrastructure across the council area. Toeing the path of Oni, the party chairman, Hon. Akinwale Tonade reiterated that with the world-class standard Aswani Road, Olasoju has availed the party with more projects to showcase/reference among achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) that makes the party deserving of massive support of the electorates as he lauded the council helmsman’s impactful legacies.
In his remark, Osolo thumped up the council honcho for his proactive and visionary leadership as he stressed that the road will not only enhance vehicular movement and boost business activities but it has solidified Isolo’s status as an advanced cosmopolitan city. According to the reverred monarch, Olasoju's unprecedented gesture of taking-over Isolo ultramodern palace's construction clearly stands the council boss out before him.
Earlier in his address, the council boss recalled the challenges encountered while the construction lasted. According to him, the presence of gas pipeline along the road posed a big challenge causing delays and redesign among others. Olasoju went further by reeling out other projects that are in the offing as he thanked everyone present for making time to be part of the epochal event.
In his own words, Barr. Ladi Ajomale emphasized that the project is a landmark and welcomed its renaming after deserving personality promising to legislatively push such move through should the need arise.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the commemorative plaque which was performed by Chief Ajomale with Oba Osolo and other dignitaries. at the event such as the former APC LGA Chairman, Alhaji Wahab Raji, former CDC Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Abisiga, Oba-Osolo-Chiefs-In-Council, CDC leadership and members among others joining him.
